Jess Muftari

USSF  D License.


Jess played club soccer for USL while growing up in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She attended Utica High School and graduated in 1997 also ran track and played soccer for the Chieftains.   A four-year captain for her high school soccer team and currently hold a record for most goals in a career (68), and also in track for the 200m and 400m relay.  In 1997 attended the University of Detroit Mercy on a soccer scholarship and worked as the team Grad-Assistant for one year.  In 2002, graduated with an Elementary Education degree from UDM and has also earned a Master’s degree in Education from Wayne State University. Started coaching in 1999 worked with girls ages U9-U14.

  Jessica Lusardi

USSF E License


Jessica grew up in Warren, Mi. She started her education
andcollege soccer career at Schoolcraft College where she played two years at SC.  During her 2nd year, Jessica was named captain and received first team all region for the 2009-2010 season. She then went on to play at Northern Michigan University where she graduated and received her  Bachelors of Science degree with an emphasis in Management of Health and Fitness. Her last semester at NMU involved an internship with the head USOEC (United States Olympic Education Center) Weightlifting coach who was also the head strength and condition coach for the NMU Women’s soccer team.   Her Coaching began in 2009 when she coached a U9 girls team for the LCSC Soccer club and in Novi for a soccer program called the LiL’ Kickers. 


Tony Boos 

USSF National D  License


Tony has played soccer his whole life- through CYO leagues in grade school, continued into high school, and then as a 4 year starter on his college team.  He has never stopped playing! Tony plays in the over 30 men’s summer outdoor league in Troy and in weekly futsal matches.

Tony has coached for 15+ years in St. Louis MO and in the Detroit area, coaching players from U6 to U18.  He has been a United FC MI coach for 6 years and highly enjoys developing players’ skills as well as heightening their appreciation for the beautiful game.

Jordan Takacs

USSF  E  License


Jordan grew up in Royal Oak where his soccer career started at age of 6. Advancing in the sport with every opportunity, he continue to develop his ability and skills through youth soccer in Clawson Strikers Travel Soccer programs and then on to United FC under tutorage of Ian Fairbrother through his high school years. At Royal Oak High School Jordan played soccer and continued to develop his game.   Jordan has share his love for the game by sharing his knowledge and skills to youth players at soccer camps, United FC Academy Rec League and other training sessions.


Christos Karatsikakis  

MYSA  E  License
USSF   D License


 Christos' soccer career began in his native Greece.  He played U12, U15 & U19 for AEK  Athens before playing for US Professional AEK Athens.  In addition to playing professionally in Greece, he also attended coaching school there.  He did friendly coaching in Germany (U15s) and coached the U19s National Team and received  the International Coaching Association BRONZE Coaching License. 

Tom Meares

USSF E License


Native of Macomb County, Michigan, Tom started as a player through the Warren Youth Soccer League (WYSL). Tom went on to play Premier 1 within the Michigan State Premier Soccer Program (MSPSP) for 5 years. During this interim, Tom also played for Center Line High School where he was a 4-year varsity letterwinner, as well as, named captain for 3 years. Tom received multiple honors as a All-Conference, County, District, and Regional student-athlete. After high school Tom continued his player career at Macomb Community College where they won the regional tournament in 2008.

Tom’s coaching career started as a student-trainer in 2005 within his local community leagues. Later, Tom evolved this role as a student-trainer, to become a technical trainer involved with various travel teams within Macomb County. Tom joined United Football Club in September of 2016.

Additionally, Tom is also involved within Total Soccer Royal Oak’s youth development programs, as well as, Futskills Academy by Tati.


Mark Camaj

 USSF  E  License


Native of Michigan, I began playing as a youth through the Warren soccer league and San Marino and also trained in Montenegro with their youth develop coach. I played for center line high school where I was named captain, I led the team in goals all 4 years and hold the record for most points in a season, in high school i received the all-state award my junior and senior year. After high school I continued my education and soccer career at Macomb community college where we won the regional tournament in 2008. I began my coaching career as an assistant in 2010 at center line high school and coached under 9 in the  Warren youth  soccer league. I have also coached soccer camps through San Marino and Royal Oak.        

Alec Hickman  

 USSF National E License 


Alec grew up in Poland, moved to the United states at age seven. He began playing competitive soccer at the age of seven. In addition to playing at the premier travel, MRL and varsity level throughout High School, Alec has represented the United States playing in European international competitions as a USA Sports Ambassador. He is currently studying Sports Management with a concentration in coaching. Alec has been part of United FC youth programs from 2014-2016. His focus is youth development,Alec will be the head coach for the birth years of 2009-2010 boys and will also continue to coach 2008 boys.




Robert Zientara  

USSF   License


Robert played goalie for the First Division, Professional Krakow Soccer Team of Poland for seven years after attending the University where he studied Sports Science.   A back injury took him out of professional soccer and into coaching two major youth Soccer Clubs in Krakow. Robert brought his coaching and soccer experience to UFC in 2004. 


Mark Hanna

USSF   D License


  Mark grew up in Sterling Heights where he played numerous years of club soccer for the Travelers Soccer club, and continued through high school where he was a three-year varsity starter along with two-year captain.  

This will be Mark's 9th year of coaching club soccer, and first with United FC.  He has experience from the U9 - U18 level, on both the boys and girls sides. 

Mark is also currently coaching with  the  Groves HS girls program.

Mark has a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
